THE 10TH ANNUAL MUZZLELOADING & GUNBUILDERS SHOW
If your interest is muzzle loading then this is the show for you! Flint or percussion, it's all here plus lots of accessories. Village will also be open to walk around at no extra charge. Hours Sat 9am to 5pm Sun 9am to 3pm.

MEET THE CONFEDERATE GENERALS
Old Bedford Village is pleased to welcome back a select group of living historians who portray famous Generals from the Civil War. The Generals and their Ladies will be living in the Village all weekend and will be offering audiences with the public to discuss all aspects of their interesting lives, as well as the Confederate history of the Civil War.

June 19/20

CIVIL WAR REENACTMENT
Hundreds of reenactors from the Blue and Grey set up their camps at the Village, bring their horses, cannon and give you an unrivaled opportunity to take a look at life in the 1860s during the civil war. Battles both days. (note: Village closes on Sunday at 4pm)

June 26/27
GUN FIGHT AT THE O.K. CORRAL
We take you back to the days of the Wild West with cowboys, bank raids, gunslingers and crooked poker games. The Old West never looked so good!

July 17/18
1820'S WEEKEND
America is an emerging nation on the world stage in 1820. Visit the Village to see how things are beginning to transition from Colonial times to a more European culture. Living historians from the W.S. Hancock society will be presenting a program over the weekend highlighting fashion, medicine and day to day life of the period.

THE 1940s WEEKEND
Come take a look at life in the 1940s during WW2. Reenactors from Allied and Axis powers, military vehicles, extensive home front display. Tactical demonstration both days. An amazing event for those interested in the period.

Aug 14/15 
VIETNAM EDUCATIONAL WEEKEND
Following on from the success of this new event last year, the Vietnam Educational Weekend offers our visitors the opportunity to learn about the American military of the period from living historians. Military equipment displays, period military vehicle rides around the site and an opportunity to talk with Vietnam Veterans make for a new perspective on the conflict and the sacrifices made by so many Americans.

DRUMS IN THE FOREST: BRADDOCK'S DEFEAT 255TH
This is our special commemorative British, French and Indian War reenactment which we hold every 5th year to mark the 1755 Battle of the Monongahela which took place just outside modern day Pittsburgh, PA. Indians, French and British forces battle both days.

THE CONFEDERATION OF UNION GENERALS WEEKEND
Shake hands with famous Generals from the Union who shaped the outcome of the Civil War. With programs throughout the weekend, these living historians will guide you through the lives of the Generals they represent. Children's programs throughout the day.

THE LIBERTY RIFLES COME HOME
The Boys are back in town! Having fought in the Civil War, the local "Liberty Rifles" are returning victorious to Bedford Village this weekend. The local town folk will no doubt be delighted to see them once again to hear about their experiences. A unique opportunity to look into the lives of our ancestors through the medium of living history.

MURDER / MYSTERY EVENINGS
There's been a terrible murder in the Village! You are the detective. Wander through the Village interviewing the suspects and try to determine Whodunnit? Always a fun evening for all ages, please allow yourself a couple of hours to carry out your 'investigations'
6pm - 10pm Evening admission applies.

PUMPKINFEST
Our annual Autumn festival dedicated to the great pumpkin! See the village decorated for fall. Lots of fun activities, many of them at no charge - face painting, magician, scarecrow making workshop, pumpkin pie eating contest, petting zoo plus much more. See our giant pumpkin hurling catapult in action!!!
FREE admission for all children aged 14 and under!.

HAUNTED VILLAGE
Scare easily? Foul deeds are done and spirits run amok as night descends upon the Haunted Village. Hayride and haunted corn maze included in admission. See you there - If you dare!
Doors creak open 6pm - 9pm Evening admission applies.
 
Dec 4 and 11
OLD FASHIONED CHRISTMAS EVENINGS
Stroll at a leisurely pace, through the candle lit Village and experience a Christmas evening of long ago. Visit with the volunteers in the log cabins as they celebrate the season and revive traditions of Christmas past. Live seasonal music and hot cider in the tavern, make a visit to Old Bedford Village a Christmas tradition for your family.

Evening admission $8.00 all persons. Age 5 and under free.

All reenactment units attending events must carry liability insurance to participate. OBV is a re-enactor friendly site. We expect only the highest standards of authenticity and appropriate behavior.

Old Bedford Village reserves the right to amend this calendar of events as circumstances require.
