MUZZLELOADING GUNSHOW
Vender tables of muzzleloading firearms, parts, powder horn, knives, hunting bags and associated accoutrements. Show times:
Sat. 9am to 5pm
Sun 9am to 3pm.
 
June 8/9
MEET THE CONFEDERATE GENERALS. LIVING HISTORY EVENT
The generals and their ladies will be in the Village
to discuss the Confederate viewpoints of the Civil War.

June 15/16

CIVIL WAR REENACTMENT
Hundreds of Troops and horses relive the Civil War. Visit the camps. Battles complete with cannons both days. Spectacular!

June 22/23
GUNFIGHT AT THE O.K. CORRAL
Back to the days of the old west – gunfights, bank raids and poker games. The “Wild West” never looked so good!

July 20/21
1820'S FOLKWAYS. LIVING HISTORY EVENT
Farewell, colonial times! It is 1820 in the Village and America is emerging as a nation. A Great Event!

VIETNAM EDUCATIONAL PROJECT
Learn about the American military of the period. Talk with vets; reenactors, period military vehicle rides.

Aug 17/18
FRENCH, & INDIAN WAR
Musket firing, woodland skills and period cooking demonstration. Learn the history behind ”America’s First World War”

Aug 24/25
MEET THE UNION GENERALS. LIVING HISTORY EVENT
The Confederation of Union Generals & their ladies discuss their lives & the Civil War.

Sept 7/8
NAPOLEONIC GRANDE TACTIQUE 2013 LIVING HISTORY EVENT
Color and splendor of exciting European Period.

Oct 5 and 12
MURDER / MYSTERY EVENINGS
There’s been a terrible murder in the Village! You are the detective. Interactive.
6 pm to 10 pm. $8, age 5 and under free.

Oct 19/20
PUMPKINFEST
Autumn pumpkin festival. Lots of activities for all. Pumpkin carving, scarecrow making, & games.
$10, children under 14 free.

Dec 7 and 14
CANDLELIT CHRISTMAS
Stroll through the Village; enjoy live seasonal music. Hot cider in the tavern.
Come and celebrate. 5pm to 9pm. $8, age 5 and under free.

Evening admission $8.00 all persons. Age 5 and under free.

All reenactment units attending events must carry liability insurance to participate. OBV is a re-enactor friendly site. We expect only the highest standards of authenticity and appropriate behavior.
